Saudi Arabia suspends entries of Expats from 20 countries starting 9 PM of 3rd February
Saudi Arabia has decided to temporarily suspend the entry of expatriates coming from 20 countries, starting from 9 PM of 3rd February, excluding diplomats, health practitioners and their families, .
The list of countries from where the entries are banned as announced by the Ministry of Interior are the following

3. Germany
4. United States of America
5. Indonesia
6. Ireland
7. Italy
8. Pakistan
9. Brazil
10. Portugal
11. UK
12. Turkey
13. South Africa
14. Sweden
15. Switzerland
16. France
17. Lebanon
18. Egypt
19. India and
20. Japan
- According to the Ministry of Interior's decision, it includes those coming from other countries, if they had passed through any of these 20 countries during the last 14 days the request to enter the Kingdom, and the entry of non-citizens, excluding diplomats, health practitioners and their families coming from the mentioned countries or who passed through any of those countries during The 14 days prior to their return to the Kingdom, According to the precautionary measures set by the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of the Interior indicated that this will be implemented as of 9 pm on Wednesday 3rd February, 2021. The ministry said that this decision came in light of the statement issued on January 13, regarding not traveling to a number of countries due to the continuing outbreak of the pandemic The new Corona virus, and that according to the preventive and precautionary measures recommended by the health authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and as part of their tireless efforts to control the emerging corona virus (COVID 19), prevent its entry and spread, and the importance of maintaining the epidemiological situation and public health in the Kingdom.
