The Prophet's Mosque Agency revealed the operational plan for the month of Ramadan this year, inaugurated by the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais.
The Ramadan month plan for this year included programs, targets, alternatives, emergencies and crisis management for the months of Shaban and Ramadan, implementation of preparations during the month of Ramadan and the days of the blessed Eid al-Fitr.

- The operational capacity of the Prophet's Mosque under the precautionary measures is 45,000 worshipers at the maximum operational capacity, and the new western squares that accommodate 15,000 worshipers will be added to the operational capacity, and the total operational capacity of worshipers during the month of Ramadan is 60,000 worshipers at one time.
- The Prophet's Mosque will be closed half an hour after the Tarawih prayer, and it will open 2 hours before the Fajr prayer, with the exception of the last 10 days of Ramadan, revealed the agency.
- As the mosque continues to open there around the clock, and the worshipers are allowed to pray in the stones and the expansions of the Prophet’s Mosque, its roof and its squares according to the plan of regeneration based on densities and the application of precautionary measures during the month of Ramadan, and the performance of prayers inside the old campus and the honorable kindergarten continues to be allocated to the employees of the Prophet’s Mosque and those with funerals.
