Corona Vaccination is not yet a condition for performing Umrah in Ramadan - Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia clarified that receiving the Corona vaccine is not yet a need of those who are wishing to perform Umrah from inside the Kingdom.
This came in response after an inquiry by one of the user, asking: “Is there any condition of receiving the vaccine for performing Umrah in Ramadan, I heard this news is it true or not?” Read : Ministry of HR announces working hours for public sector during Ramadan
- The official account for the care of the beneficiaries of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah responded on the Twitter saying, “So far, it is not required,” adding, “The permitted ages for Umrah within Saudi Arabia, as per the Ministry of Health's instructions are from 18 to 70 years.”
- Earlier, The Ministry had confirmed that it was preparing for the Umrah season of Ramadan, starting with the sorting points for the permits of “Umrah” and the areas for the transportation of pilgrims, including the accurate application of the precautionary measures issued by the Ministry of Health, and the close link between the Ministry and the application of Tawakkalna.
- Earlier, The Health Minister of Saudi Arabia, Tawfiq Al-Rabiah has directed that acceptance of pilgrims in this year's Hajj is linked with receiving Corona vaccine,
