Mandatory Coronavirus Vaccination of Workers in 5 Activities in Saudi Arabia, Starting 1st Shawwal


The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in Saudi Arabia has approved the need of vaccinating all workers in restaurants, cafes, and food outlets, including those working in men's barbershops and women's beauty salons, with the Corona virus vaccine, given that this decision comes into effect from 1st of Shawwal (13th May).



According to Al Arabiya, the ministry confirmed that in case of worker is not immunized, a PCR test with negative infection from the Coronavirus must be performed every 7 days, at the expense of the company for workers in those activities who are not vaccinated.

- The Ministry of Sports has directed all Gyms and Sports centers, to vaccinate workers in Gyms and Sports centers in the Kingdom, starting from 1st Shawwal, 1442, or to submit a negative (PCR) test result of Corona virus every 7 days. - The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia had expanded the vaccination process with the Covid-19 vaccine, and launched more Corona virus vaccination centers to include all regions of Saudi Arabia.

- This comes in line with the efforts to preserve the health and safety of Saudi citizens and expatriates, and to limit the spread of the Corona virus, calling upon everyone to register through 'Sehhaty' app to receive the vaccine, reiterating the reminder of the free vaccination in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership.
