Saudi Food & Drug Authority examining other Coronavirus Vaccines after Pfizer and AstraZeneca


The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdal-Aali, announced that the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) is testing coronavirus vaccines other than "Pfizer" and "AstraZeneca".

- He said that the current increase in infections and critical cases, between 60 and 70% of cases, that was recently monitored is due to the negligence of some in applying precautionary measures and practicing wrong behaviors in gatherings, especially family.

- Abdal Aali said the dates for receiving the Corona vaccine will be more available in the next stage, calling on everyone to speed up and take the initiative to take the vaccine through the Sehhaty app to overcome the pandemic safely and reach community immunity.
