Saudi Arabia is the Happiest Arab country in 2021, Followed by UAE, Bahrain


Saudi Arabia topped in the happiness index for the year 2021 as the happiest Arab country to come in 21st in the world, followed by the UAE in 2nd place regionally and 27th in the world, then Bahrain, which was ranked 35th.



Finland has managed to maintain the title of "the happiest country in the world" for the 4th year in a row, ahead of Denmark, Switzerland and Iceland, as per the annual report issued under the auspices of the United Nations.

- Europe clearly dominates the ranking of the top 10 countries on the list, which also includes the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg and Austria, in addition to one country outside the European continent, which is New Zealand. - The authors of the study sponsored by the United Nations and published every year since 2012, based on the world polls from the "Gallup" Institute in which residents answer questionnaires about the degree of personal happiness. These data are compared with GDP, indicators of solidarity, individual freedom, and corruption, to put a final score on 10.

- As per the "least happy countries in the world" according to the classification, Afghanistan came to the top with 2.52 points on 149th rank, followed by Zimbabwe (148), Rwanda (147), Botswana (146) and Lesotho (145).

- India ranked the worst among the major countries in the world, at 139th in the list of 149 happiest countries. Pakistan is on 105th place, while Bangladesh on 101st and China on 84th place in the list, while United States ranks 19th.
