Saudi Arabia to provide Covid-19 Vaccinations in Pharmacies for Free all over the Kingdom


Saudi Arabia to provide Covid-19 vaccines in pharmacies all over the Kingdom for free, announced the Health Minister, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah.



Dr. Al Rabiah said this step comes in line with the efforts to expand the ongoing vaccination campaign and facilitate access to vaccine centers.

- As of now, more than 100 vaccination centers have been opened around the Kingdom, since Saudi Arabia began its nationwide vaccination campaign on 17th December revealed the Health Ministry.

- Earlier this, Several universities of Saudi Arabia are preparing to open Corona virus vaccination centers as part of their efforts to support the country's vaccination campaign. Related : Saudi Universities across Kingdom to open Coronavirus Vaccination centers

- For now, Saudi Citizens and Expatriates with valid national ID or Iqama are eligible to receive the vaccines and can register to receive the dose through the 'Sehhaty' app.

- Today, Saudi Arabia reports 331 new Corona cases, 351 newly recovered and 5 deaths, by which the total number of infections in the Kingdom raised to 378,333, with 369,277 recoveries and 6,510 deaths, while 2,546 Covid-19 cases are still Active, out of which 501 are Critical.

- In the last 24 hours, 55,082 Corona tests have been done, By Today a total of 13,782,574 Covid-19 tests have been done all over the Kingdom. See Also : Procedure to register for receiving Corona virus Vaccination in Saudi Arabia

- As of Today, Saudi Arabia administered 1,003,287 Corona vaccine doses to the Saudi nationals and expats of the Kingdom.
