Banning Foreign Vehicles exceeding its Lifespan from entering into Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has started implementing the life expectancy requirement for every foreign vehicles including taxis, buses and trucks entering into the Saudi territories through its borders entry ports announced the Public Transport Authority.
The Public Transport Authority said that vehicles not conform with the operational life requirement will not be available into the Kingdom, This is in line for raising the safety level on the Kingdom roads.
- The Authority said that the ban on the entry of vehicles older than their life expectancy into Saudi territories through the border crossing points started on 4th April, 2021. Trending : Tawakkalna app is must for boarding flights in Saudi Arabia
- Implementation of the conditions on foreign vehicles will be as follows:
* Taxis 5 years
* Buses 10 years and
* Trucks 20 years from the manufacturing date.
