Jawazat sets the age of registering Biometric Fingerprint for Expats Children
The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia has set the permitted age for registering the biometric fingerprint of expat children.
This came in response to a query by one of the beneficiaries on the official Jawazat account on Twitter, who asked, "From which age, expats children fingerprints can be registered?"

- Earlier, Jawazat call all expats living in the Kingdom to come forward to register the biometric fingerprints of their children aged 6 years and above at the earliest possible.
- The General Directorate of Passports confirmed that registering the fingerprints of resident expats and their dependents is a condition for getting access to various passport services.
- On the other hand, Jawazat said failure to register the biometric fingerprint of workers exposes to suspending the services of the sponsors or employers.
