Linking passengers Travel data with Tawakkalna and 2 cases are Permitted for Travel - GACA
The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia issued a circular to all airlines operating in the Kingdom and the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, to quickly link passenger travel data with their health status in the “Tawakkalna” application.
The Civil Aviation clarified that the issuance of the boarding pass is limited to travelers whose health status in the application is “immunized” or "Covid-19 infection not proven," from Yesterday (Thursday). Trending : Saudi Arabia sets 11 conditions for Exit Re-Entry visa in New Labor Reforms
- According to the circular, the Civil Aviation Authority will only use the "Tawakalna" application to prove that a person is free from infection with the Coronavirus, without the need for supporting documents for that, after the government and private departments are satisfied with the application and the absence of the need of paper views.
- The Authority called on the responding parties to the necessity for the system to provide a mechanism to inform travelers through text messages to cancel their reservations, if their health condition differs from 'Immunized' or ' Not tested Positive' cases, with a force on preserving the rights of travelers when canceling their reservations, as per the circular.
