Saudi Arabia bans Cigarette sales to Minors and smoking in areas where Children are present
Saudi Arabia has banned the sale of tobacco to people below 18 years and also banned smoking in areas where children are present.
The law also states the ban on importing and selling toys or candy made similar to cigarettes or bear images that encourage children to smoke.

- The Kingdom has a target to reduce the consumption of tobacco products to 5% by the year 2030.
- Earlier in 2019, Smoking at public places like airports, restaurants, educational institutions and public transport has banned.
- Saudi Arabia has also introduced a tax on tobacco products to curb smoking and raised the price of shisha by 100%. The estimated cost of tobacco consumption will reach 480 billion Saudi Riyals during 2018 to 2030. Recommend : No repeat of Umrah pilgrimage during Ramadan
