Saudi Arabia distributes 4 tons of Dates in India as Gift from King Salman


The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in New Delhi representing the religious attaché of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed 4 tons of dates as gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to the Indian people on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan 1442.



The distribution process took into consideration the health precautionary protocols against the coronavirus (Covid-19), A portion of the gift was handed over to prominent Islamic personalities and centers, reported Saudi Gazette. - A number of heads of Islamic societies stated that the program realize the great efforts made by Saudi Arabia in serving Islam and Muslims standing with Muslims and their causes all over the world, calling on God to preserve the Kingdom, its leadership and its people and to keep it stable and secure.

- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is continuing with the distribution of dates in 24 countries in various continents through offices of the religious attaches and cultural Islamic centers affiliated with the ministry as per the health protocols followed in each country as per the report of Saudi Press Agency.
