2nd dose of Corona Vaccine is available for Seniors over 60 Years without Delay
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that the 2nd dose of the vaccine against Coronavirus will be available without delay for the elderly people for the age group of 60 years or above.
The official Twitter of Health Ministry said, "The second dose of the Corona vaccine is available for the age group of 60 years and over".
- Earlier, The Ministry of Health stated that the impact of the Corona virus doubles many times among the elderly and people with chronic diseases, usually vaccination is the most important step to protect them and reduce the risk of infection. - Today, The Ministry of Health announced 1,183 corona cases, 1,040 recoveries and 14 deaths in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of corona infections to 445,963 while 428,502 recovered with 7,309 deaths.
- By this, The total number of Active corona cases in the Kingdom increased to 10,152, which is highest figure after many months, of this many cases 1,353 cases are critical and are in intensive cares.
- In the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia conducted more than 86,629 Covid-19 tests, so far more than 18.8 million (18,875,464) corona tests have been done in the Kingdom. See Also : Benefits of decision to insure domestic workers contracts in Saudi Arabia
- As of Today, Saudi Arabia administered more than 13.5 million (13,538,582) doses of Corona virus vaccine all over the Kingdom through 587 vaccination centers.
- The Ministry said that Corona vaccination centers are located in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom, and the “Sehhaty” app made it possible to book an appointment and know the locations of the centers offering the vaccine.
- The Ministry of Health invited everyone to register for the Corona vaccine, to preserve their health and safety and to protect them from infection with the virus. Read : Ministry clarifies on vaccination of children above 12 years
- The Ministry also advised everyone to contact the Center (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to get health information and services, and to know the developments of the Corona virus.
