Jawazat clarifies on 'When does the banned period ends for those who left on Exit Re-Entry visa and not Returned' 


Jawazat in Saudi Arabia explained that the instructions provided to those who left Saudi Arabia on Exit Re-Entry visa and no longer returned, will be prevented from entering into Kingdom for a period of 3 years.



This came in response from Jawazat to a query from a resident who asked, “A resident left and did not return from the date of 27/6/2019 when is the expiration date of the deportation period. Is the period of deportation calculated from the beginning of the date of exit from the Kingdom or from the date of the expiration of the Exit Re-Entry visa? ” Trending : Jawazat allows Exit Re-Entry and Final Exit visa issuance through Absher

- The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) confirmed this through its official Twitter account that, instructions stipulate whoever left Kingdom on Exit re-Entry and not returned on time will be banned from entering into Saudi Arabia for a period of 3 years.

- The period is calculated from the date of the expiration of the visa, However, same employer can able to bring the employee to work on new visa during the banned period of 3 years. Recommend : Iqamas can be renewed before 6 months for commercial employees and 14 months before for domestic workers
