Council of Cooperative Health Insurance clarified that Covid-19 Insurance coverage starts from which date
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) in Saudi Arabia set the start date of coverage for the new Corona travel insurance.
The Council of Health Insurance through its official Twitter account said that the coverage of Covid-19 travel insurance starts from the date of travel specified by the insured.
- The CCHI had directed the necessity of getting travel insurance to cover the risks of the emerging corona virus at least 24 hours before the flight date. Trending : Corona vaccination for family visit visa holders is not available at this stage in Saudi Arabia
- The Council pointed out that insurance is available to all citizens and is mandatory for those under 18 years old, indicating that the insurance status will appear on the Tawakkalna application.
- Earlier this, the CCHI clarified that citizens under 18 years of age recovered from Corona virus do not need to have to travel insurance for Covid-19, given that their recovery is within a period of less than 6 months and is documented in the Tawakkalna application. - On the other hand, Tawuniya Insurance Company clarified that Corona travel insurance does not cover covid-19 test in the destination country.
