Is Corona Vaccine available for those who are on Family Visit Visa? Health Ministry responds
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia clarified the scope to which the Coronavirus vaccine could be available for those coming to the Kingdom on a family visit visa.
The health ministry through its official Twitter account said that, currently at this stage, vaccine against Corona virus is only available for Saudi Citizens and resident expatriates with iqama.
- The Ministry also confirmed that the permissible age for taking the vaccine against the new Corona virus “Covid-19” is 18 years and above, age calculation is as per the Gregorian date. Trending : Vaccination is must from 1st August in Saudi Arabia to enter at workplaces
- The ministry called all the Saudi nationals and resident expats to register to take the vaccine in order to preserve their health and safety, from infection with the Covid-19, the vaccination is free of cost in the Kingdom.
- The Ministry of Health stated that the way to get the new Corona virus vaccine is by registering with the 'Sehhaty' app, which can be downloaded through the Android's Google Play Store and Apple's IOS App Store.
- According to the health ministry statistics, As of now more than 12.5 million (12,542,971) doses of Coronavirus Vaccine administered in Saudi Arabia through 587 vaccination centers all over the Kingdom.
