GACA : Cases in which Precautionary measures do not apply on arrivals in Saudi Arabia


The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia through its official Twitter account clarified the cases in which precautionary measures are not applied for those who are traveling from outside the Kingdom.



The GACA said that Immunized or vaccinated person, whether a Saudi citizen or resident expat, everyone who appears 'immunized' in the application of “Tawakkalna”, explaining that the vaccinated are those who completed the doses of the Corona virus vaccine or those who spent 14 days after receiving the first dose, or those recovering from Covid-19 for a period of not more than 6 months. - As for visitors and resident expats, those who has completed 14 days since receiving the full doses of the Corona vaccine (with one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom) with proof of this in accordance with the requirements set by the Ministry of Health.

- Earlier this, GACA issued a circular to all airlines operating in Saudi Arabia about registering the data of vaccinated travelers coming from outside the Kingdom for the expats and the excluded groups on online portal before their arrival.
