GACA issues a Circular regarding lifting the Suspension of 11 countries from 30th May
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia issued a circular to all air carriers at the Kingdom's airports about ending the suspension of travel for those coming from 11 countries as of Today (30th May, 2021), after the pandemic situation has stabilized in these countries.
The GACA said in a statement that, entry is permitted from countries, UAE, Germany, USA, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, France and Japan. - The Authority explained that this comes based on the stability of the pandemic situation in those countries, which has shown the effectiveness of controlling the Corona pandemic, highlighting that institutional quarantine measures will be applied against those coming from those countries to whom it applies.
- The Civil Aviation called on those coming to the Kingdom to review the guide for travelers who are not Saudi citizens and the excluded groups who are not immunized or vaccinated and coming from countries from which their arrival has not been suspended, wishing everyone a safe journey. - The 9 countries from which travel is still prohibited to Saudi Arabia are India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, Argentina, Brazil and South Africa.
