Hotel Quarantine for non-Vaccinated people coming from Abroad by air at their Expense
The Public Health Authority (Weqaya) in Saudi Arabia said that those arriving from outside the Kingdom through the airports, from unvaccinated persons who are not covered by exceptions will be institutionally quarantined in specific hotels at their own expense.
Weqaya confirmed that the quarantine will not be applied to the immunized residents and visitors coming to Saudi Arabia from abroad who have passed 14 days after completing their doses of vaccines approved in Saudi Arabia.

- The Civil Aviation Authority warned all travelers, about the need to ensure the requirements for entering the country of destination, by assuming the responsibility of the air carrier to educate travelers about the instructions and requirements of those countries, so that they can travel in a safe and healthy way, taking into account the procedures and requirements imposed by other countries, in order to avoid any problems or difficulties that may occur.
- The Ministry of Interior spokesperson, Col. Tala Al Shalhoub announced the start of the implementation of institutional quarantine measures for all arrivals to the Kingdom from countries that have not been suspended from coming from, starting Thursday, 20th May.

- He highlighted that whoever violates the isolation procedures will be punished with a fine of up to 200,000 riyals or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 2 years, or both, stressing that if violations of the isolation procedures are repeated, the penalty imposed on the previous time will be doubled.
