Husband's employer is obligated to Insure Children - Council of Cooperative Health Insurance
The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) in Saudi Arabia clarified that, if both husband and wife are employees in the Kingdom, the priority for insuring child comes to the husband's employer.
This comes in response from the Health Council Security through Twitter, after one of the Saudi citizen asked,
"If the wife is employed in a private sector and the husband is employed in the another sector, who gets the priority to register health insurance for children?" Trending : Second dose of Corona Vaccine to rescheduled after 6 months for those who infected after first dose
- The Council responded it stating, 'The husband's employer is obligated to insure sons up to the age of 25 years and unmarried and non working daughters'.
- Earlier this, the Health Council confirmed that the hospital facilities must provide service immediately for emergency cases without the need to refer to the insurance company and the insurance company must be notified within 24 hours from the time the case is received.
