Immunization is Must from 1st August in Saudi Arabia for entry into Public, Private and Educational establishments and Public Transportation


The Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia stated that based on what was submitted by the competent authorities regarding the measures taken by the Kingdom to face the emerging corona virus (Covid 19), and for the purpose of preserving public health, It was decided that:



1. The requirement of immunization approved by the Ministry of Health, starting from August 1st, 2021, with regard to the following:

* Entering any economic, commercial, cultural, entertainment or sporting activity.

* Entering any cultural, scientific, social or entertainment event.

* Entering any governmental or private educational facility.

* Use of public transportation.

 
2. The return of education in the presence of male and female teachers, and members of the teaching and training staff in universities and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, and the ministries of (Health and Education) agree to define the target age groups of students.

3. Using the “Tawakkalna” application to check the immunization status of citizens and resident expats. Recommend : Saudi Arabia warns against traveling to 13 countries without prior permission

4. The concerned authorities shall issue, each within its jurisdiction, explanatory data for the mechanism for implementing what was mentioned in the above articles, including the relevant controls and conditions.

- The Ministry highlighted the need for everyone to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures, and not to be complacent in the application of health requirements, including social distancing, wearing a mask, and continuously disinfecting hands, and adhering to approved protocols.
