Overseas pilgrims to be allowed to perform Hajj this Year with strict Precautionary measures


Saudi Arabia to allow pilgrims from overseas to perform Hajj (1442) this year with strict health and precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the Kingdom.



This is line with the decision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on 9th May to proceed with this year's Hajj with all health, security and regulatory measures in place in order to preserve the health and safety of pilgrims.

- The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to announce the specific measures and organizational plans soon. Before this, the Hajj Ministry said this time Vaccination against Covid-19 is must to perform Hajj 1442 rituals.

- Every year, More than 2.5 million pilgrims perform Hajj rituals in Makkah, Last year for the first time in modern history the authorities allowed only 1000 pilgrims of various countries from insie the Kingdom due to the Corona virus pandemic.
