Saudi Arabia supports India with 60 tons of Oxygen to combat with Corona virus


The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced on Saturday that, a support of 60 tons of liquid oxygen is being send to India to confront the Corona virus (Covid-19).



The Indian Oil Minister Darmandra Pradhan in a series of tweets, strongly appreciated Saudi Arabia's offer to send 3 containers containing 60 tons of liquid oxygen, which is expected to arrive in Mumbai on 6th June, 2021.

- He specified that, Saudi Arabia has also offered to provide 100 containers of oxygen, which are scheduled to arrive in India in the coming months, to support it in combating the Corona virus. Similar : Saudi Arabia is preparing 160 tons of Oxygen to send to India

- Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted that, this gesture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reflects the close friendship and friendliness between the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Indian government, noting that the 3 containers and additional containers that will come in the coming weeks and for a period of 6 months will be a goodwill gesture from the Saudi government.

- On 25th April, Saudi Arabia supported India with 80 tons of oxygen, in partnership with the Indian "Adani" Transport and Logistics Group, and the "Lind" company in the field of natural gas. Related : Saudi Arabia ships 80 metric tons of liquid Oxygen to India

- On Saturday, India reported 173,790 new corona infections during the past 24 hours, its lowest daily increase in 45 days, with the number of new infections recorded continuing to decline.
