Saudi Arabia vaccinated more than 13 million doses of Corona Vaccine, Elderly and People with Chronic diseases must be quickly Vaccinated
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia has announced that more than 13 million (13,100,213) doses of the Corona vaccine (Covid-19) have been delivered in the Kingdom so far through more than 587 vaccination sites in all regions of the country.
The ministry called on everyone to need to register to take the vaccine, stating on its official Twitter that, "Take the step, take the vaccine, and register now through the Sehhaty app, http://onelink.to/yjc3nj
- Earlier, the Ministry of Health warned of the impact of the new Covid-19 on the elderly and people with chronic diseases, explaining that vaccination is the most important step to protect them and reduce the risk of infection. - The Health Ministry on its official Twitter account said, “The effect of Corona doubles many times among the elderly and people with chronic diseases, so immunization is the most important step to protect them and reduce the risk of infection.”
- Studies of deaths in the Kingdom have proven that the following groups are at a higher risk of death from the Covid-19, Where the categories came as follows:
* The age group 50 years and above constitutes 78% of deaths.
* Diabetic people are 6 times more likely to die than healthy people.
* Hypertensive patients are 5 times more likely to die than healthy people.
* Obesity and kidney failure patients are 5 times more likely to die than healthy people.
* People with diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity are 66 times more likely to die than healthy people.
