Five categories of people can receive 2nd dose of Corona Vaccine without delay - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia called five categories of people to take the second dose of corona virus vaccine without delay, it includes renal dialysis, active cancer, organ transplant patients, obese persons and seniors over 60 years of age.
The Assistant Undersecretary for Preventive Health at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Asiri said that, delaying 2nd dose of corona vaccine energize immunity better in some vaccines.

- Monitoring and following up of the immunity level after the first dose of corona vaccine, shows that there is no perfect time between two doses, added Dr. Asiri.
- He said that, There are countries that approved a 3 months interval between two doses, while few other countries started scheduling the second dose 4 months after the first dose, so it is the epidemic status and the demographic structure that are the decisive factors.

- As they are monitoring the rate of spread of Covid-19 and the mutations in the countries from where the passengers arriving, irrespective of the immunization status of the passenger.
