Dubai eases Travel restrictions for India, Nigeria and South Africa from 23rd June
Dubai eases travel restrictions for the holders of UAE residency visas who stuck outside the country, to return to Dubai from certain countries, if they received 2 doses of UAE approved vaccine.
The Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai announced updates to Dubai's travel protocols for inbound passengers from India, Nigeria and South Africa, effective from 23rd June.
- As of now, UAE approved 4 vaccines against Covid-19 and they are Sinopharm, Pfizer BioNTech, Sputnik V and Oxford AstraZeneca. Trending : It is not possible to create a new user from outside the Kingdom - Tawakkalna
Travel rules from India :
- Passengers with a valid residence visa who received 2 doses of UAE approved vaccine are allowed to travel to Dubai. However, they should submit a negative PCR test certificate taken 48 hours before their departure, only QR coded PCR test certificates are accepted.
- United Arab Emirates (UAE) citizens are exempted from this requirement, Citizens and diplomats are also exempted from Institutional quarantine.
- Travelers from India are required to undergo a rapid PCR test four hour prior to their departure to Dubai, they must go another PCR test on arrival to Dubai. They need to undergo institutional quarantine until they receive PCR test result, which is expected within 24 hours. Recommend : Study reassures men that Corona vaccine does not affect sperm
Travel rules for South Africa and Nigeria :
- Passengers from South Africa, who received 2 doses of UAE approved vaccines can enter into Dubai. However, they must need to present a negative result of PCR test, which have taken 48 hours before their departure to Dubai, Passenger must undergo a PCR test on arrival to Dubai.
- Travelers from Nigeria, must present a negative test result of PCR test taken 48 hours before their departure. Negative PCR test must carry a QR code and test must have been conducted by labs approved by the Nigerian government. Passengers must undergo a PCR test on arrival to Dubai.
- UAE citizens are exempted from PCR test requirement. Transit passengers must comply with entry protocols of their final destinations. Follow 'Saudi Expatriates' on Whatsapp
