Indians who took Covishield vaccine can register to return to Kuwait - Indian Ambassador to Kuwait
Indian Ambassador for Kuwait said that, we are aware of the concerns about vaccination and its approvals in Kuwait, Kuwaiti authorities are fully aware that Covishield vaccine given in India is same as the Oxford's AstraZeneca vaccine.
He called those who have taken Covishield vaccines in India to register in the Kuwaiti portal as having taken Oxford's AstraZeneca vaccine. However, the entry to Kuwait is not currently available to those who have taken Covaxin vaccine. We have taken up the issue and will update you, when we get more information, he added.
- The Indian Ambassador called all Indian community to remain alert and continue to follow all precautions instructed by Kuwaiti government regarding the Coronavirus as the country is witnessing an increase in number of infections.
