Indonesia to not send Pilgrims for Hajj 2021 due to Corona virus Pandemic
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Indonesia has decided to not send pilgrims for Hajj this year too, like last year said the official of religious affairs ministry.
According to Minister Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, Indonesia has not yet received any invitation from the Saudi Arabian government and has not opened access to the Hajj 2021 yet to the Kingdom, where the pilgrimage takes place.

- As we are till in pandemic and for the safety of pilgrims, the Indonesian government has decided that this year we will not send Indonesian pilgrims for Hajj, He added.

- For Indonesia, this is 2nd time after last year, those who have paid their travel costs for Hajj 2020 will be moved to Hajj 2022. It can be refunded to the pilgrims, the funds are safe reveals the minister.
