Is China's Sinopharm Corona Vaccine approved for those coming to Saudi Arabia?, SFDA responds
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) revealed that there are only 4 approved vaccines so far, for those coming from abroad to the Kingdom, While the Ministry of Health provides only 2 types of them inside Saudi Arabia. This came in response to a question from one of the expat who asked, "Has the Sinopharm vaccine been approved for those coming to the Kingdom if Saudi Arabia?"
- The Food and Drug authority said, through its official Twitter account that, The approved vaccines for those coming to the Kingdom are:
*AstraZeneca
* Pfizer
*Johnson and Johnson and
* Moderna
- The vaccines provided by the Ministry of Health inside the Kingdom are the vaccines that are approved by the Food and Drug General Authority, and so far it is a Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccine. Recommend : Saudi Arabia's government ranks first in the world in response to Corona virus
- Last month, World Health Organization (WHO) gives emergency approval to China's first Corona virus vaccine 'Sinopharm'. Hundreds of millions people received this vaccine in China and other countries.
- Earlier this, WHO approved emergency use of Corona vaccines of Pfizer BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson.
