Completion of online linking for issuance of Boarding pass of Domestic flights in Saudi Arabia through Tawakkalna
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia announced the completion of online linking process for the issuance of the boarding pass with the health status in the “Tawakkalna” app for domestic flights.
The boarding pass will be issued electronically only to the passengers whose Tawakkalna health status is vaccinated or vaccinated with first dose or Immune by recovery and not proven to be infected with Covid-19.
- This measure is one of the initiatives supported by the authority to take advantage of the technical capabilities owned by the Kingdom to improve the passenger experience, by linking the Tawakkalna app status with the passenger security systems and the systems of national airlines. - This is to provide the necessary flexibility to make an easy, healthy and safe travel journey at airports and flights, as well as raising the efficiency of economic movement and operational procedures, and the application of precautionary and preventive measures recommended by the relevant authorities.
- The initiative reflects the fruits of joint cooperation with success partners from government departments, like the Presidency of State Security, Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence, Ministry of Health, and constructive cooperation from national airlines and Elm Company, in completing the initiative within a short period to complete the required technical development and linking systems between departments to ensure its success.
