Kuwait to allow fully Vaccinated Expats to return from 1st August, 2021
Expatriates of Kuwait, who are fully vaccinated with the vaccines against Corona virus to be allowed to enter into the country, starting from 1st August 2021.
The spokesperson of Kuwaiti Government, Tareq Al-Mazrem said that expats can return to the country if they received any of the below mentioned approved vaccines.
* 2 doses of Pfizer BioNTech
* 2 doses of Moderna
* 2 doses of Oxford AstraZeneca

- However, returning expats must produce a PCR test certificate with negative result taken within 72 hours of the arrival and should undergo a 7 day home quarantine, after which another PCR test must be taken. Home quarantine can end sooner than 7 days, if the 2nd PCR test shows a negative result.
- This decision also allows many expats to leave Kuwait for their home countries and can come back on 1st August onwards. People can use their Kuwait Mobile ID or Immune applications to prove they have received the 2 doses of vaccine. Entry is only for those who received 2 doses of vaccine or at least 14 days passed after taking first dose.
- Al Mazrem also said that issuance of visit visas is still suspended. Kuwaiti citizens will not be allowed to leave the country from 1st August unless they have fully vaccinated, excluding children, pregnant women and those who have health conditions. - The cabinet of Kuwait also decided that only vaccinated people can able to enter restaurants and cafes, health clubs, salons and large commercial spaces, starting from 27th June, 2021.
