No Financial fines for non-Vaccinated residents, But Vaccination must to attend workplaces from 1st August
The security spokesman of the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia, Colonel Talal bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Shalhoub, said that there are no financial fines for resident expats or Saudi citizens who have not received the Corona vaccines yet.
During the press conference, which was held Today, he said that all precautionary and preventive measures were not set for punishment or penalty, but rather is to preserve the health of society.
- However, he confirmed that vaccination against Covid-19 is a must, to enter any government or private offices, activities and events in Saudi Arabia starting from 1st August, 2021. - He added that, the decision includes attending any commercial, cultural, entertainment, sports and economic activity, including any scientific, social or cultural event. It also include government or private department, whether for business or audit and also the use of public transportation.
- Al Shahoub stated that the security authorities are raising their efforts with other concerned agencies to control violations of precautionary measures and preventive measures and violations of institutional and home health isolation for those coming from abroad.
- Within just one week, more than 17,800 violations of corona precautionary measures recorded. He said that, the penalty for people gathering for social purpose, like invitations and parties is 40,000 riyals.
