Saudi Arabia has provided more than 17 Million doses of Corona Vaccine to Saudi citizens and Residents
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that it has administered more than 17 million (17,038,622) doses of Corona virus vaccine to Saudi nationals and residents through out the Kingdom through 587 vaccination centers.
The ministry through its statement confirmed that vaccination program covered 70% of the adult population in the Kingdom. It advised everyone to take the vaccine against Corona virus by registering through 'Sehhaty' app.
- The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom revealed a decrease in Corona deaths in Saudi Arabia by 74%. Authorities called those who are over 50 years and passed 42 days after taking first dose to take second dose of the Corona vaccine. - The ministry stated that the program for giving 2nd dose will cover other age groups as per the process in society coverage and availability of vaccines, as it seeks to provide coverage to the largest possible segment of the population during the next few period.
- The chance of a diabetic patient contracting the emerging coronavirus is not higher compared to others, but the complications resulting from the disease could be worse for diabetic patients.
