Saudi Arabia is set to launch a service of Quarterly payment of Work Permits in advance
The Minister of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia, Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi announced that the ministry is set to launch the service of paying work permit fees for at least 3 months in advance instead of one year.
Al-Rajhi revealed about it while addressing a National Committee for Recreation and Entertainment meeting, he said the ministry is seeking to implement solid changes in the labor market, including government as well as private sectors.

- The Minister praised the teamwork activities in laying out future plans, adding that several objectives helped boost growth of private sector businesses during the last period.
- He sated that, there are significantly qualified cadres working in several business sectors, which will speed up the Kingdom's economic development in line with Saudi Vision 2030, as per the report of Saudi Gazette.
- Earlier this year, The cabinet approved to collect the fee of iqamas, work permits, expat levy and financial compensations in installments. This decision allows employers to issue or renew iqamas for at least on a quarterly basis than paying it annually. - However, this decision exempts domestic workers and related categories, like house driver, house maid, etc., as per the Cabinet statement.
