Changing the Salary requires Written approval from a worker - Ministry of Human Resources
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) in Saudi Arabia confirmed that changing or modifying the worker salary must be with his written and agreed consent.
This came in response from a ministry after a beneficiary complained about a reduction in his salary by one of the the company in the Kingdom. Trending : Saudization of 6 sectors job profession in Saudi Arabia
- The official Twitter account of the ministry of human resources responded it stating, "Change in the salary of the worker must be with his written and approved consent and if the contract is terminated for an illegal reason you can file a lawsuit through the service of amicable settlement of labor disputes.
Review and update worker data
The Ministry added that, the service of review and update of the worker's data was launched on the electronic services portal to allow representatives of the companies to update employment data and for more details about the steps of implementing the service. Deduction of the worker salary for an irregular reason is considered as a violation
Regarding the deduction from the worker salary, the ministry explained that, “Deduction of the worker’s salaries for an irregular reason is a violation.
