Corona Vaccine to make this Virus a thing of past - Saudi Health Minister
The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, appealed to all the Saudi citizens and resident expatriates to register for receiving the vaccine against Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Dr. Al Rabiah said that 'the Corona vaccine will make this virus a thing of the past'.
- He pointed out the importance of vaccine to get rid of any diseases, stating, they were not vaccines, several diseases from world would not have disappeared, that caused the deaths of millions. Trending : Corona mutations have become more dangerous to 12 to 18 years age group - Health Ministry
- Today, the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced 1,534 new corona infections, 1,487 new recoveries and 13 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona cases to 489,126 of which 469,120 recovered with 7,832 deaths.
- The Kingdom's active corona cases reaches to 12,174 of which 1,389 are critical and are in intensive cares.
- In the last 24 hours, the health ministry has done 106,572 corona tests and 22 million (22,008,712) Covid-19 tests so far since the beginning of the pandemic. Read : 9 countries from where entry to Saudi Arabia is not allowed
- Saudi Government has administered more than 17.97 million (17,970,948) doses of vaccine against Corona virus for free to all Saudi nationals and resident expats.
