Day of Arafah is likely to be on July 19th and Eid Al Adha to be on 20th July in Saudi Arabia


The astronomer and researcher in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Khaled Al-Zaqaq, predicted the first of Dhul-Hijjah, the Day of Arafah, and the day of Eid al-Adha, according to astronomical calculations.







Al Zaqaq in his statement to Al Arabiaya channel said that, the astronomical calculations indicate that the period of the month of Dhu-Al-Qidah will be complete 30 days. Related : What is Eid Al Adha, How do Muslims celebrate it

- He said that Sunday (July 11th) will be the first day of the month of Dhu-Al-Hijjah month, Monday (July 19th) will be the day of Arafah and the date of Eid Al-Adha will be 20th July, 2021 (Tuesday).

- He highlighted that the emergence of the moon after the sunset on the western side is conclusive evidence of the end of the month and beginning of the new month.
