Kuwait to allow fully Vaccinated Expats to return from August
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of Kuwait announced a ban on travel abroad for Kuwaiti citizens who do not receive the Corona vaccine, starting from the 1st of August, 2021. Trending : Kuwait suspends direct flights from 5 countries until 10th August
The government of Kuwait said this rule excludes children under the age of 16 years and those with a Kuwaiti health ministry certificate stating they cannot be vaccinated due to health reasons and pregnant women who have pregnancy proof certificate issued by Ministry of Health.
- The Corona Emergency Committee agreed to exclude 9 categories to allow them to return to the country, including stranded teachers working in the Ministry of Education, special education and cultural institutes, imams of mosques, workers in oil companies, advisors in “fatwa and legislation” and domestic workers, ambassadors and their families, Doctors and nurses working in private hospitals. - The official spokesperson of the Kuwaiti government, Tariq Al-Muzram, announced that expatriates will be allowed to enter starting Sunday (1st August), provided that proof of vaccination is submitted electronically and that no papers will be accepted.
- The Cabinet had specified allowing entry to non-Kuwaitis without any amendment to the decision, which included 4 conditions,

2. Received two doses of one of the approved vaccines, (Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine) at least 14 days before the flight.
3. A negative PCR certificate within 72 hours from the date of the flight.
