Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al-Adha Holidays for Public and Private sector workers
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced the 11 days holidays for Eid al-Adha for the public sector this year 1442 (2021) in the Kingdom.
The Ministry clarified that the start of the holiday for the government sector will be at the end of the working day on Wednesday, 14th July 2021, till the end of Sunday, 25th July 2021. Trending : Saudi Arabia has fixed the maximum local price for Gasoline
- It means public sector will have holidays from 15th July to 25th July. The Ministry of HR also clarified that, the work will resume for public sector from Monday, 26th July 2021.
- Earlier, the Ministry stated that according to the Labor Law, there will be 4 days holidays for each Eid for private sector of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. By this regulation, this Eid Al-Adha will have 4 days holiday for private sector workers.
- For Private sector, The holidays to start from the 9th day of Dhu Al-Hijjah month, which is from 19th July until 22nd July 2021 and 23rd July is Friday a weekend holiday. Few private companies declared the holidays until 24th July as Friday and Saturday are weekend holidays, as per their company norms. Join our Whatsapp group
