Second dose of Corona Vaccine protect against Corona's mutations - Health Ministry
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia confirmed that taking the second dose of the Corona vaccine gives greater and better immunity to the body, and protects against changes in the epidemic.
The ministry said that second dose is taken after 42 days, and the first dose would not lose effect if the duration increased.
- Today, The Ministry of Health announced 1,133 new Corona cases, 1,582 new recoveries and 14 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 498,906 of which 479,709 recovered while 7,947 left this world due to the complications with virus. - The Covid-19 active cases drops to 11,250 of which 1,378 are critical and are in intensive care. In the last 24 hours, the health ministry has done 96,257 corona tests and 22.8 million (22,805,670) tests so far since the beginning of the pandemic.
- Saudi Arabia has administered more than 19.38 million (19,3838,251) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through 587 vaccination centers, of which 17,263,620 are first doses, 2,119.631 are second doses and elder persons received 1,393,433 doses.
