Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia called to sight the Crescent of Dhu Al-Hijjah on Friday evening
The Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia called on all Muslims in all parts of the Kingdom to sight the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah on the evening of Friday, 9th July 2021 (29th Dhu al-Qaidah 1442 AH).
The Supreme Court announced that whoever sees the crescent of Dhu Al-Hijjah with the naked eye or through binoculars inform to the nearest court, record his testimony, or contact the nearest center to help him reach to the nearest court. - The court hopes that those who have the ability to take an interest in the matter, join the committees formed in the regions for this purpose, and calculate the reward by participating in it because of the cooperation in righteousness and piety, and the benefit to all Muslim community.
- According to the astronomical calculations, Abu Rahman Al Sakhry predicted that Arafa day will fall on 19th July (Monday) and Eid Al-Adha to celebrate on 20th July (Tuesday). See Also : Eid Al Adha is likely to fall on 20th July in Saudi Arabia
