King Salman orders Extension of Iqamas, Exit Re-Entry visas, Visit visas until 30th September for Expats in banned countries
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin AbdulAziz Al Saudi has ordered the extension of validity of iqamas, exit re-entry visas and visit visas until 30th September 2021, for those all expatriates in the red list countries, who stuck outside the Kingdom. The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia began extending the validity of iqamas, exit re-entry visas and visit visas for expats outside the Kingdom and who are in the list of banned countries. Recommend : Validity of Visit visas extended until 30th September - MOFA
- The extension issued by the Minister of Finance, comes in line of continuous efforts taken by the Saudi Arabia’s government to deal with the effects and consequences of the global pandemic (Covid-19), and within the precautionary and preventive measures that guarantee the safety of citizens and residents, and to contribute in restoring the economic and financial effects.
- Jawazat in Saudi Arabia said the extension will be done automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center (NIC) without the need to visit the headquarters of the Jawazat as follows.
1. Extending the validity of residency and exit and re-entry visas for residents outside the Kingdom in the countries from which entry has been suspended as a result of the outbreak of the Corona virus, to be until the date of 30th September 2021. 2. Extending the validity of visit visas for visitors outside the Kingdom from countries whose entry has been suspended as a result of the outbreak of the Corona virus, to be until the date of 30th September 2021.
- Jawazat reveals the countries that are going to benefit from extensions which have been suspended from entering into Saudi Arabia are Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa, Pakistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, India, Ethiopia, UAE, Vietnam, Afghanistan.
