Oman ends the Travel ban from Red-list countries including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and allows entry from 1st September
The Sultanate of Oman announced that citizens, residents, visa holders and all those who do not need Oman's visa while entering, and those who can get it upon arrival, will be allowed to enter the Sultanate starting from 12 PM of September 1, 2021.
These decision ends the ban on 18 countries from traveling to Oman, including India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, which were red-listed countries, reveals Omani Civil Aviation Authority.
- All passengers arriving to Oman required to present a Corona vaccination certificate with a QR code, stating that they have received 2 doses of a Corona vaccine approved in Sultanate. Trending : Saudi Arabia approves Moderna corona vaccine for 12 to17 years age group
- However, the second dose must have received 14 days before the time of arrival to Oman.
- All the passengers arriving in the country need to present a pre-travel negative PCR test are exempted from quarantine, PCR test certificate must be with QR and the test shall be within 96 hours prior to arrival in the Sultanate for international flights of more than 8 hours and 72 hours for less than 8 hours. - Those passengers who arrive at Oman without a negative PCR test are required to take PCR test on arrival and must enter in mandatory quarantine with an e-tracking bracelet until a negative PCR test results are received.
- In the event of a positive PCR test result, the passenger shall be required to undergo mandatory health isolation for 10 days starting from the test date.
- Passengers who recovered from Covid-19 but tested positive on arrival are exempted from health isolation but they need to submit a proof that they have completed prescribed isolation period in the country, where they were infected. Join Saudi Expatriates on Telegram
