Saudi Arabia arrested 6 Citizens for Harassing a Foreign Tourist - Public Prosecution
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia said that the competent department has begun investigation procedures with 6 Saudi citizens, who are in the 20's, after the incident of their gathering around a foreign tourist vehicle in a neighborhood of Riyadh, and verbally harassing her, and one of them rammed her vehicle and ran away from the site.
The prosecution explained that the accused were subjected to strict investigation procedures, after being informed of their rights guaranteed by law, and they confessed to the criminal acts committed by them, and were detained pending trial. - The prosecution explained that the offense assigned to the accused according to the circumstances of the incident is surrounded by an aggravating circumstance of the penalty in accordance with Article of the anti-harassment crime law, and its association with the crime of wantedly hitting a vehicle without plates and runaway from the scene of the accident, and the gathering that leads to a breach of public morals and its penalties are imprisonment for 10 years.
