Studies have proven the safety of the Corona vaccine on Pregnant Mother and Fetus - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia announced that the number of doses of the Corona vaccine given in the Kingdom has exceeded 27 million doses since the start of the vaccination campaign.
The Ministry of Health through its official Twitter account said that more than 27 million (27,000,000) doses of the Corona (Covid-19) vaccine have been given so far through more than (587) vaccination sites in all regions of the Kingdom.

- During the press conference, Al-Abdali added that if pregnancy occurs and a corona infection occurs, the risks to the health of the pregnant woman and the pregnancy process are very dangerous, as studies have confirmed that pregnant women are among the groups with the highest risks in case of infection with the Covid-19.
- The health spokesperson explained that studies have proven that the Corona vaccine is safe for the pregnant mother and the fetus, and that the vaccine protects against risks and severe disease and reduces the chances of the pregnant woman experiencing problems as a result of infection with the Corona virus, and the vaccine provides immunity to the mother and antibodies to the fetus.
- The Health spokesman, Dr. Muhammad Khaled Al-Abdali, said that a single dose of the Corona vaccine or recovery from the virus does not protect against the “delta” mutation, stressing that two doses of approved vaccines must be received to prevent its danger. - He stated that the delta mutation prevails in the world and is rising, and it poses greater risks as it spreads 3 times faster, noting that there is strength and severity in cases monitored in a set of studies and data.
