Vaccine is the main reason in reducing Corona infections in Saudi Arabia - Ministry of Health
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia confirmed that vaccines against the Corona virus are among the most important reasons for the decline in the number of corona infections in the Kingdom.
The Ministry had confirmed that the vaccines against Covid-19 approved in the Kingdom are effective and safe, reminding the importance of receiving two doses of the vaccine to prevent the rapidly spreading virus variants.

- The Health Ministry called on all students aged between 12 to 18 years to hurry to book an appointment to take the 2 doses of the Corona vaccine before the beginning of the school year, highlighting that appointments are available in all the vaccination centers.
- The “Priority of Reserving an Appointment” was launched through the “Tawakkalna”, which allows students and their parents to choose the date of the appointment and the appropriate period for them, even if It was not available, as the nearest location is determined based on the appointments available with the Ministry of Health, for the age group from 12-18 years, which gives priority to the target groups in receiving the Corona vaccine before the return of the study in person on August 29. - Today, Saudi Arabia announced 864 Corona infections, 451 recoveries and 12 deaths, bringing the total corona cases in the Kingdom to 535,176 of which 515,990 recovered with 8,357 deaths.
- Active cases in the Kingdom raised to 10,829 of which 1,396 are critical, In the last 24 hours, the ministry had done 93,481 corona tests and so far 26,008,288 covid-19 tests.
