The Curve of Corona infections in Saudi Arabia decreased to 95% - Ministry of Health
The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Khaled Al-Abd Al-Aali, said that the curve of injuries in the Kingdom is witnessing a 95% decrease.
During the press conference regarding developments of Corona virus, he refer the demand for vaccines and adherence to precautionary and preventive measures regarding the Corona virus.
- He stated that, Moderna vaccine is one of the most effective vaccines in facing Corona variants. Al Aali added that, we are honest with you, do not be afraid of side effects of Corona vaccine, addressing the citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. - The spokesperson highlighted that, the presence of the new variant requires everyone to complete the vaccination to achieve the required immunity.
- Today (On 12th September), Saudi Arabia's health ministry records 80 corona infections, 95 recoveries and 6 deaths, raising the total infections in the the Kingdom to 545,992 of which 535,078 recovered with 8,623 deaths.
- Active cases of Corona in the Kingdom slightly drops to 2,291 of which 508 are critical and are receiving treatment in intensive cares. Riyadh tops in active cases with 173, Madina with 115, while Jeddah has 110 active corona cases. Read : 60 days without a fine after expiring istimara
- In the last 24 hours, Saudi Arabia has performed 44,227 corona tests, so far the health ministry has done 28,058,487 corona virus tests since the beginning of the pandemic in the Kingdom.
- The health ministry announced that, it had provided more than 39.52 million (39,527,051) doses of Corona vaccine all over the Kingdom through its 587 vaccination centers.
- The official statistics of the health ministry shows more than 16.75 million (16,759,004) people in Saudi Arabia received 2 doses of Corona vaccine, while more than 22.76 million (22,768,047) are first doses and elderly people received 1,621,349 doses of vaccine against Corona virus.
