Tourist visa and Visit visa holders can perform Umrah after booking for Permit
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia clarified that foreigners who are coming to the Kingdom on Tourist visa can able to perform Umrah after getting Umrah permit from Eatmarna and Tawakkalna apps.
The Ministry also stated that visit visa holders can also get Umrah permit from Eatmarna application, Opening an account with Eatmarna is possible only after updating visitor's immune health status on Tawakkalna app.
- The Ministry said that, only those who received 2 doses of vaccine against Corona virus or completion of 14 days after taking first dose of the vaccine or recovered from Corona infection are able to get an Umrah visa. - Starting from 1st Muharram, about 500 Umrah service companies and establishments and more than 6000 foreign Umrah agents receiving vaccinated Umrah pilgrims. Those who wish to perform Umrah can book Umrah packages and can make all payments through around 30 electronic sites and platforms that are available for booking worldwide.
- Recently, The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced its plans to launch a new mechanism to issue single Umrah visa online. The ministry confirmed its readiness to receive many Umrah pilgrims as per the quota that had been agreed upon various Islamic countries before the Corona pandemic.
