Saudi Arabia increased the number of People allowed at one Table to 10 in Restaurants and Cafes


The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing in Saudi Arabia announced that it has been allowed to increase the number of people at one table in restaurants and cafes to 10, in continuation of the precautionary measures.







The Ministry highlighted the need to take into account the application of precautionary measures, as set by the Public Health Authority (Weqaya). Trending : More than 20 million people received 2 doses of Corona vaccine in Saudi Arabia

- The Ministry stated to allow entry into restaurants and cafes only to those who appear in Tawakkalna application as received two doses of the Corona vaccine.





- The Kingdom has suspended all indoor dining at restaurants and cafes on 26th April 2020, as part of measures to curb the spread of Corona virus (Covid-19). Later it were allowed to reopen after 1 month and that was under strict coronavirus preventive protocols, including limiting the maximum number of people who can sit at a table to 5 people unless they are members of one family.

- The protocols also included checking temperatures of customers, 1.5 meter social distance between 2 customers and serving food in disposable paper or plastic dishes as well as using electronic food menus.
