3 Regions of Kingdom where Vaccination rate exceeded 65% - Ministry of Health
The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdali, said that more than 42.34 million (42,246,471) doses of Corona vaccines have been administered in Saudi Arabia, stating that 18.9 million people have completed the two-dose vaccination. During the press conference, he added that the Kingdom is witnessing progress in the proportion of those vaccinated with 2 doses of Corona vaccines in the Kingdom's regions.

- On 3rd October, Saudi Arabia reports just 41 new corona cases, 49 recoveries and 2 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total infections in the Kingdom to 547,262 of which 536,330 recovered with 8,724 deaths.
- Active cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom further drops to 2,208, of which critical cases also decreased with 12 to 181. Jeddah tops in active cases with 207, Madina with 107 and Riyadh with 95 active corona cases.
- The Ministry of Health also revealed that more than 23,440,166 people received first dose of the corona vaccine in the Kingdom, while 18,906,305 people received 2 doses and the elderly people received 1,658,291 doses.
